Supporting individuals with finding ease in their days, being more present, and experiencing more joy.
As someone who has done their own work in therapy, I know how impactful approaching life differently can be. A weight lifted from the heaviness you’ve been feeling, the ability to breathe and rest your mind rather than ruminate, the drop in tension and sigh of relief when freed from the sensations of tense shoulders or a tense chest, and a newfound capacity to live a life worth living.
compassionate therapy to support you with finding peace of mind and embracing all that life has to offer.
Do you feel like you’re constantly worrying? Do you feel like you’re unable to feel joy? Are you feeling stuck in life, unsure of how you ended up where you are at, or concerned about where you are going? Are you having difficulties functioning at work, school, or within your close relationships? If any of these sound familiar, I want you to know that therapy can help you find some relief.
Often in life, we go about responding to stressors the only way we know how. The ways we respond to stress is usually formed when we’re young. They served a function early on, but sometimes we find that as life continues, these same ways of approaching stress are no longer helpful. My therapeutic approach focuses on using evidence-based approaches to support you with learning about your past experiences and how these are contributing to your current life. I genuinely believe that when we are able to approach struggles and stress in a new way, we can find some ease in our daily lives. We will work on expanding your capacity to welcome all thoughts and feelings, without pushing them away. And finally, we will explore your personal values- what is important to you and how can you live a life worth living (whatever that life looks like to you).
Taking the first step with therapy can be hard- trust me, I’ve been there. But I want you to know you’re not alone. Let’s start this journey- at your pace, in your way. Click the link below to book a complimentary consultation to see if we would be the right fit.

my approach
My approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and genuine curiosity about your experience as a human. My goal is to create a judgment-free space where you feel safe enough to share your story. I will tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, always prioritizing your personal autonomy and lived experience as knowledge.
As a Registered Social Worker, I also recognize the impacts that systems of oppression have on individuals and society as a whole. In today’s world, capitalism, colonialism, and the patriarchy have a profound impact on our lives. Other systems of oppression are also at play daily, and this contributes to suffering. While working with you, I seek to understand your personal experience and how systems of oppression are also impacting you.
